AIMS written evidence to House of Commons Children, Schools and Families Committee on Training of Social Workers 2009 A paper based on families' experiences and on our own observations of social workers in action, as well as social work literature, showing how poor current standards can be.
AIMS written evidence to House of Commons Children, Schools and Families Committee on Looked-after Children 2008 A paper based on distressing reports from parents and from some children about experiences of being in care, and the lack of respect for parents within the system.

AIMS makes information and articles freely available on its website as a public service. We also provide advice and support to parents and professionals at no charge. We receive no government or charitable funding, and rely solely on donations, membership subscriptions and the efforts of our volunteers.
